This policy explains what information I collect through somamiller.com, how I use it, and the choices you have. Soma Miller, operating through The Essential Man LLC, Rogue Valley, Oregon, is responsible for it. Questions: [email protected].

Information I collect

  • What you give me: name, email, phone number, birth date, and what you write in booking, inquiry, intake, feedback, subscribe and contact forms.
  • Health information for bodywork: the intake and consent form asks about your health, injuries, medications and goals so I can work safely.
  • Payments: cards are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number. I keep a record of what was charged and, for bodywork, that a card is on file.
  • Messages: emails, texts and chat messages you send me.
  • Basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, which may be logged by the services that host this site.

Psilocybin facilitation

Forms on this site for psilocybin facilitation are for general inquiry and scheduling only. Intake forms, informed consent and session records for psilocybin services are completed and kept separately, as Oregon Psilocybin Services rules (OAR chapter 333, division 333) require, and are not collected or stored through this website. Oregon law keeps psilocybin client information confidential (ORS 475A.450). Please do not send health or session details through the website, email or chat.

How I use information

  • To schedule and deliver sessions, send confirmations, reminders and follow-ups, and take payment.
  • To keep safe and appropriate records of your care.
  • To reply to you, and to send the newsletter if you asked for it.
  • To understand how my work helps people. Feedback you give is used to improve it, and I only quote you with your permission.
  • To meet legal and professional obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the box for text messages when you book, I will text the mobile number you provide. Texts are for appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling and brief follow-ups about your booking. Message frequency varies, usually a few per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of booking or any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. I use a messaging provider (Twilio) only to deliver the texts. See also the SMS terms.

Who I share information with

I use a small number of service providers who handle information only to help me run the practice: Google (calendar, email, documents and spreadsheets), Stripe (payments), Twilio (text delivery), Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Anthropic (the automated chat assistant on this site, which receives the messages you type into it). I do not sell your personal information and I do not share it for advertising.

I may disclose information if you ask me to, if the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious harm.

How long I keep it

I keep records for as long as needed to provide services and for as long as Oregon law and professional rules require. After that I delete or de-identify them. Mailing list information is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. I respond within 45 days. Some records must be kept by law, and I will tell you if that applies.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email.
  • Text STOP to stop texts.
  • Oregon residents may have additional rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act. Use the same email to make a request.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored in accounts protected by sign-in controls. No online system is perfectly secure, so please keep sensitive details to the secure forms that ask for them.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses minimal browser storage to make forms and the chat assistant work. Payment and embedded media providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Children

My services are for adults. Psilocybin services are available only to people 21 and older. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I change this policy, I will update the date above. For material changes I will make a clear notice on the site.
